2023 Designer Showhouse
I participated in the 2023 Junior League of Greensboro Designer Showhouse. I renovated a 1st floor powder room. I pulled inspiration from global influences, adding rich color and texture to add interest without overwhelming the small space.
BEFORE & AFTERS

Small Footprint, Big Impact
The room is only about 4ft wide, so I used a slender, sculptural pedestal sink and a narrow toilet to make the room feel wider.
The original closet doors were pretty plain, so to add interest I added these antique Indian shutter doors. The closet doors open and close using the iron pulls on the antique doors.
An unlacquered brass light switch that will patina over time next to a bronze towel ring adds tactile interest that will age beautifully.
Unique Vintage Lighting
The vintage light fixtures add an unexpected element that provide a warm glow to reflect off of the subtle sheen of the roman clay walls.
